Rubikloud collects and uses personal information for its events by having individuals explicitly submit this information through a fill-in-the form registration via its website or a third-party hosted event management website.
We use this information for the purposes of conducting business and developing an understanding of these individuals to optimize our events, content, and marketing.
If you register for our events, then we require you to submit personal information such as: your first and last name, your email, your phone number, your employers name, your title or role, and other non-specific demographic information (I.e. your location, your gender, your language preference, your meal preferences, etc.).
We do this to ensure the legitimacy and quality of our registrant list by mitigating spammers or robots from registering and to understand better what type of events and content are of most interest to you.
If you do not want your personal information to be used for events, content, and marketing purposes by Rubikloud, then you can request that we no longer utilize your personal information for these purposes by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and indicating “Please unsubscribe me” in the subject line. We will make reasonable efforts to meet your unsubscribe request within ten (10) business days.
We do not sell or distribute personal information or contact lists to third parties. However, we may disclose select personal information as required to fulfil specific business duties. This may include secure disclosure to consultants, suppliers, or our business partners that have agreed to: a) hold this personal information in confidence, and b) comply with all other requirements from us to ensure that we remain in compliance with applicable privacy laws and our own privacy policies.
